I wrote this album sitting there most nights—under a dim table light, with the moonlight just out of reach—just trying to be a vessel. Open. Receptive. Letting whatever needed to come through, come through.

At the same time, I was intentional about where I wanted it all to go. I wasn’t chasing perfect takes or big ideas—I was searching for feel, for texture, for songs with character. Each one followed its own path, but the direction was clear. Nothing forced, nothing premeditated—just a steady sense of what felt right at every step.
